Introduction
In Arizona, beer production increased by 13% from Q2 of 2021 to Q2 of 2022. This was the greatest increase among all the states and territories, making it an ideal region for beer production. Massachusetts also saw a 13% increase in production from the same time period. The state of Indiana experienced a 12% growth, while North Carolina saw an 11% rise in output. Alaska witnessed a 10% uptick in production over that timeframe as well.
Virginia saw a 9% rise in beer output during this period, while New Jersey saw an increase of 7%. Connecticut and Maine had increases of 5%, and Maryland only recorded a 1% gain. On the other side of the equation, California witnessed a 1% decrease in production between 2021’s Q2 and 2022’s Q2, indicating that there were fluctuations across the country with regards to how much beer was being produced at any given time.
As such, many states and territories recorded different levels of beer output throughout this one year period, demonstrating that there can be changes in production depending on factors such as demand or availability. Additionally, certain regions may see massive increases or decreases due to external factors such as shifts in public opinion or shortages taking shape within the industry itself. All these elements should be taken into account when determining which areas are best for beer production moving forward into the future.
