Updated on Nov. 1, 2026 in Current Conditions
Nine has announced Dan Anstey as a Weekend Today co-host and Today weather presenter for 2027. Anstey resigned from his Triple M Breakfast role in Brisbane to take the new position.
Why it matters
The move gives Anstey a split weekday and weekend schedule on Nine's Today programme instead of a seven-day radio roster. He will relocate to Sydney with his family in the new year.
Anstey worked a seven-day radio roster for five years while raising two small children. The source does not state the exact start date for his Today role beyond 2027.
