The players

Tea2go/TeaN'ergy

Tea2go/TeaN'ergy is a beverage retailer operating multiple tea and drink locations across the Texas Panhandle.

The details

The closures were announced in a post by the company, with the Western St. Amarillo location and the 23rd St. Canyon location shut permanently. The announcement stated the closings were immediate.

The closure announcement was published on November 2, 2026.

Market Landscape

The closures narrow Tea2go/TeaN'ergy's footprint in the Amarillo market, where the chain now operates one location. The move leaves the company competing in a crowded local beverage segment with a reduced physical presence.

Customers of the closed Western St. Amarillo and 23rd St. Canyon locations will need to visit the remaining Gem Lake Rd. location in Amarillo for Tea2go/TeaN'ergy drinks. Shoppers in the area should expect fewer nearby options for the chain's beverages.

The takeaway

Customers who rely on a specific Tea2go/TeaN'ergy location should confirm the nearest open site before making a trip. Checking directly with the company can help clarify current hours and availability at the remaining Amarillo location.
