Do you believe local sports teams perform better when they are primarily player-led?

Pittsburgh Steelers safety Jalen Ramsey discussed the need for increased on-field chemistry during a media availability session. He later clarified his remarks on social media to express respect for the coaching staff.

Why it matters

Ramsey emphasized that true on-field performance relies on real-time repetition and shared terminology rather than just studying a playbook. He believes the most successful teams are player-led and must adapt to modern offensive formations.

The Steelers defensive rotation has been altered by the acquisition of new cornerbacks Terell Smith and Sean Murphy-Bunting and the trade of Joey Porter Jr. These changes arrive ahead of Sunday's home matchup against the Indianapolis Colts.
