The Savannah Bananas are expanding their 2027 Banana Ball World Tour stop in Cincinnati to include a third game. The exhibition events are scheduled to take place at Great American Ball Park from July 23 to July 25, 2027.
Why it matters
The team opted to increase the number of games at the venue to accommodate high public demand for tickets. The event is currently expected to sell out as the tour continues its national run.
The Cincinnati stop will feature three games total, with access granted to fans holding Reds Season Ticket Memberships of at least a 14-game plan. The tour is set to occupy the venue for three consecutive days in July.
The players
Savannah Bananas
An exhibition baseball team known for performing choreographed dances and playing a unique, fast-paced version of the sport called Banana Ball.
Cincinnati Reds
The professional Major League Baseball organization that hosts the Savannah Bananas at its home venue.
The details
Fans can secure opportunities to attend by entering the 2027 Ticket Lottery through the team's official website. Current Reds Season Ticket Members also have an exclusive window to purchase access if they hold or renew memberships by the designated deadline.
Timeline
October 31, 2026: The 2027 Ticket Lottery closes at 11:59 p.m. ET.
November 6, 2026: The deadline for Reds Season Ticket Membership access.
Early 2027: A random drawing for ticket purchase opportunities occurs.
July 23-25, 2027: Savannah Bananas tour games in Cincinnati.
Season Trajectory
This addition reflects the broader trend of exhibition tours capitalizing on high-demand markets to maximize venue utilization. The move firmly positions the Savannah Bananas as a primary draw for major stadium attendance outside of traditional professional league play.
The expansion increases the total inventory of available seats for local fans looking to attend the exhibition games. Interested participants should note that all tickets are distributed via a lottery system, and membership holders must act before the November 6, 2026, deadline.
The takeaway
Fans interested in attending should prioritize the October 31, 2026, lottery deadline to ensure participation in the drawing. Securing a spot through the official lottery or season membership renewal is the only guaranteed method to access the event.
