Courteney Cox and Lisa Kudrow had dinner together at the Nobu restaurant in Malibu on Saturday night. The outing came about a month after Matthew Perry's Netflix docuseries, The One About Matthew Perry, was released.

Why it matters

The dinner draws attention to the continuing public interest in the Friends cast following Matthew Perry's death at age 54 in October 2023. The docuseries, which features interviews with friends and loved ones of Perry, did not include several of his former co-stars.

The Netflix documentary is a three-part docuseries directed by Mary Robertson, and it did not feature Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc, or David Schwimmer. Perry died at age 54 on October 28, 2023, and the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner's Office attributed his death to a fatal ketamine overdose.
