WWE Shop is selling a limited-edition John Cena Classic Championship replica for $800, a price that drew criticism from fans on social media. Cena unveiled the belt on the November 2 episode of Raw at Barclays Center in Brooklyn.
Why it matters
The replica's price has prompted fans to question the cost of WWE merchandise tied to a major event. The actual production cost of the replica has not been made public.
WWE Shop listed the replica at $800, compared with $649 for a 2025 Los Angeles-themed spinner replica. A fan claimed the belt cost about $40 to produce, a figure WWE has not confirmed.

Season Trajectory
The John Cena Classic on December 14 will pit main roster stars against NXT talent, with Club WWE subscribers helping decide the winner. More main roster names are expected before the event, including at Survivor Series in Houston.
Fans weighing whether to buy the replica can compare the $800 price against the $649 spinner replica and the unverified $40 production-cost claim. Viewers following the bracket can track which main roster and NXT names are added before December 14.
The takeaway
