Apple's latest iOS release extends Find My tracking to second-generation Siri Remotes from 2021 and later. The new Apple TV 4K goes on sale at $300 on Nov. 13.
Why it matters
Lost remotes have long been a common frustration for streaming device owners, and the update adds a more capable locating tool to existing hardware. The expansion also comes alongside a new Apple TV 4K priced at $300.
The new Apple TV 4K is priced at $300, well above earlier Apple TV generations that historically sold between $129 and $199 and far above budget rivals from Roku and Amazon, which sell for as low as $30. The available information does not indicate whether the $300 price covers all configurations.

Find My now lists Siri Remotes in the Devices section of the app, and tapping Find opens a radar screen to guide the search.
