Why it matters
The premium price and limited serialized supply position the controller as a collector-oriented product for players seeking high-end customization. Its PC optimization also expands its appeal beyond PlayStation owners.

Culture Shift
Razer's officially licensed Raiju V3 Pro follows Sony's DualSense as a licensed PS5 controller but moves into premium, enthusiast-grade customization. It reflects a broader trend of hardware makers selling high-margin, collector-oriented peripherals to dedicated players.
Buyers who want the controller must purchase it directly from Razer, as the limited 1,337-unit release is not available through other retailers. At $349.99 or €368.99, it is a significant purchase compared with standard PS5 controllers.
The takeaway
Premium controllers can justify their price through customization and performance, but limited supply means buyers should act quickly on launch day. Compare the cost against standard controllers before committing.
