KTM has unveiled the 2027 KTM 450 SX-F FACTORY EDITION and KTM 250 SX-F FACTORY EDITION motocross bikes, featuring revised chassis, engine, suspension, ergonomics, exhaust system, and graphics. The models are ready to order in international markets.
Why it matters
The FACTORY EDITIONs were shaped by feedback from race teams and athletes in MXGP and AMA SMX, and their technical base is expected to carry into KTM's 2028 SX range. The update signals KTM's continued focus on competition-grade off-road motorcycles.
The 450 SX-F FACTORY EDITION produces a peak of 63.8 hp at 10,000 rpm and 52 Nm of torque at 7,000 rpm, while the 250 SX-F FACTORY EDITION runs 15.5:1 compression and a 14,500 rpm rev limit. Independent dyno results and comparisons to the prior model were not provided.

The details
The frames were resculpted with new geometry, a new aluminum subframe, an adjustable wheelbase, and a redesigned CNC-machined triple clamp, and the engines received an oval throttle body, oval intake ports, a top feed injector, and a redesigned valve train. The bikes use WP XACT closed cartridge spring forks and shock, a new ECU in the Engine Management System, and premium parts from Brembo, NEKEN, WP PRO COMPONENTS, EXCEL, ODI, and Selle Dalla Valle.
