GOCO Hospitality Names Clive McNish Corporate Operations Director

GOCO Hospitality has appointed Clive McNish as corporate director of operations, effective 1 November 2026. McNish is responsible for overseeing development of the Fivelements wellness brand, which GOCO acquired in 2025.

Why it matters

The appointment brings a manager with more than 30 years of experience across Europe, Asia and the Americas to lead the operational side of a wellness brand expanding into new destinations. GOCO said his operational background will help deliver a consistent guest experience across its locations.

McNish's past postings include general manager of Chewton Glen Hotel & Spa from 2022 to 2025, where he led a team of more than 300. He also oversaw three luxury estates across 8,000 acres at Wilderness Reserve, with a team of more than 150.

The move reflects a competitive push to standardize operations across destinations as the group adds properties.

Travelers planning wellness stays may see new Fivelements properties in Thailand, Switzerland and Montenegro as the brand grows, though the extraction gives no details on pricing or booking. The appointment itself does not change current prices or availability at any existing property.

The takeaway
