Indra to Unveil Prisma-S Naval Radar
The Spanish defense firm will present its Prisma-S AESA radar and NIMBUS combat cloud at Euronaval 2026 in Paris.
Updated on Nov. 2, 2026 in Cybersecurity

Indra plans to unveil the Prisma-S, an active electronically scanned array radar for naval air and surface surveillance, at Euronaval 2026 from 3 to 6 November at Paris Nord Villepinte. The company will also showcase its NIMBUS combat cloud, which links ships, uncrewed surface vessels and its TARSIS uncrewed aerial vehicle.
Why it matters
The Prisma-S is built on fully digital 4D AESA technology, which supports simultaneous anti-air warfare, anti-submarine warfare and long-range target designation. The NIMBUS combat cloud, previously featured at REPMUS 26, points to a push toward networked, real-time information sharing among naval assets.
The Prisma-S combines range, azimuth, altitude and target velocity data using digital signal processing that enables more precise trajectory tracking in congested electromagnetic environments. Indra has not yet published independent performance benchmarks for the system.
The players
Indra
Indra is a Spanish defense and technology company that develops radar, electronic warfare and combat management systems for military customers worldwide.
Euronaval
Euronaval is an international naval defense and maritime security exhibition held in Paris, now in its 30th edition.
The details
Indra's portfolio at the show also includes the iKeeper-iS20 navigation radar, the TSUB-40 satellite communications system, the PEGASO NG electronic warfare system and an Identification Friend or Foe system. The exhibition brings together naval defense and maritime security suppliers from around the world.
Timeline
3 to 6 November 2026: Euronaval 2026 runs at Paris Nord Villepinte.
The Tech Race
The shift from mechanically scanned radars to fully digital AESA arrays has become the standard for modern warships, and the Prisma-S extends that trajectory to naval air and surface surveillance. Indra's NIMBUS combat cloud places the company alongside rivals pursuing networked, multi-domain combat systems.
For most readers, the Prisma-S is a defense procurement development with no direct consumer impact. Its significance lies in how naval forces may detect and track threats in the years ahead.
The takeaway
Advances in networked, fully digital radar are reshaping how navies detect and coordinate against threats. Watch the Euronaval 2026 exhibition for further technical detail on these systems.
What happens next
Euronaval 2026 opens on 3 November 2026 at Paris Nord Villepinte and runs through 6 November, when Indra is scheduled to present the Prisma-S and NIMBUS systems.
