The Milwaukee Bucks will broadcast all 82 regular season games on MY24 and statewide affiliates this season, in partnership with Rincon Broadcasting Group. Fans can also watch on YouTube TV and most cable packages.
Why it matters
The move makes Bucks games available to viewers without cost over the air for the first time in more than 30 years. Bucks president Josh Glessing called it a substantial economic decision and an investment in fans, made after a disappointing season that included the trade of Giannis Antetokounmpo.
The Bucks will air 82 of 82 regular season games free over the air, the first such offering in more than 30 years. Financial terms of the Rincon Broadcasting Group partnership were not disclosed.

Timeline
This season: all 82 regular season games air on free television.
Over the past 30 years: no free over-the-air Bucks broadcasts were offered until now.
Market Landscape
Many NBA franchises have moved their regular season games behind cable and streaming subscriptions over recent decades. The Bucks' decision to return to free over-the-air broadcasting runs counter to that trend and positions the team to reach fans who lack pay-TV access.
Fans without cable or streaming subscriptions can watch every Bucks regular season game on MY24 and statewide affiliates at no cost. Viewers with YouTube TV or most cable packages can also follow the games through those services.
The takeaway
Fans who have gone without local Bucks games can now watch the full regular season for free. The move is a reminder that how teams distribute their broadcasts directly affects who gets to watch.
