The Kalamazoo Event Center has begun taking premium seat reservations for the K-Wings' 2027-28 season. Prospective ticket holders recently toured a 3D model of the new venue at a public open house.

Why it matters

The $515 million arena project represents a significant infrastructure upgrade for the region's sports landscape. It will serve as the new home for the K-Wings, a franchise with 52 years of history, alongside Western Michigan University teams.

Premium seat prices range from $60 to $125 per game for a 37-game full-season package. Prospective holders must provide a 10% down deposit to secure their spot, with loge seats already sold out for the inaugural season.
