The Chelsea High School Concert Band has been selected to perform at Disney Springs on the AdventHealth Waterside Stage in spring 2027. Senator Sal DiDomenico secured funding for the trip, following similar performances by the school's Jazz Band and Cantare last March.
Why it matters
The selection gives Chelsea students a professional stage and an educational experience at Disney's Imagination Campus, building on prior arts performances by the district's music groups. It also marks continued state-level support for student arts programs in the community.
The Concert Band has more than 40 members, and the Jazz Band and Cantare previously performed a near 20-minute set at Disney Springs last March. The exact spring 2027 performance date has not been announced.
