Dutch Bros Coffee

This is a publicly traded drive-thru coffee chain known for its high-energy service model and menu of specialty beverages.

The details

The site is located west of Jefferson Pointe, positioned directly between a Taco Bell and a Drive & Shine facility. The structure is built exclusively for drive-thru traffic, reflecting the company's standard operational design.

Dutch Bros confirmed the details in October 2026.
The new shop is expected to open before December 31, 2026.

Market Landscape

This site follows the industry-wide trend of prioritizing high-throughput, limited-footprint properties in suburban retail corridors. It positions the brand to capture commuter traffic in southwest Fort Wayne against established local and national coffee competitors.

Residents near Illinois Road can expect a new option for coffee service once the site becomes operational later this year. The drive-thru-only design is intended to streamline quick service for customers navigating the southwest side of the city.

The takeaway
