St. Pete Ceramics has returned to its original home at 593 22nd St. S. in St. Petersburg following a fire that displaced the business for seven and a half months. The studio is hosting a grand reopening party this Saturday to celebrate the return to its primary facility.
Why it matters
The move marks the end of a long period of operation in temporary spaces, allowing the owners to implement a redesigned layout better suited for workshops and community gatherings.
The studio was displaced for 7.5 months, operating from temporary sites at Five Deuces Galleria and the ArtsXchange. The upcoming grand reopening party is scheduled from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.
