Jupiter Fire Rescue will officially assume fire service responsibilities for the town starting October 1, 2026. This move replaces the fire services previously provided by Palm Beach County Fire Rescue.
Why it matters
The formation of a dedicated municipal department allows the town to establish its own operational framework for emergency response. This transition shifts oversight from the county level to a local authority managed by town leadership.
