WWE is reportedly planning a celebration of The Rock's 30th anniversary, with November 2026 marking three decades since Dwayne Johnson first appeared with the company. The reported initiatives include a commemorative championship belt, special merchandise releases, and social media campaigns.

Why it matters

The milestone highlights the longevity of one of WWE's most prominent figures, whose debut dates to Survivor Series 1996. Johnson's involvement in WWE storylines has been limited since his last programming appearance at Elimination Chamber 2025.

The Rock's debut as Rocky Maivia at Madison Square Garden occurred on November 17, 1996, making November 2026 the 30-year mark. The reported plans have not been officially confirmed by WWE, and the specific details of the campaign remain unannounced.

Season Trajectory

The Rock's 30-year tenure with WWE, beginning at Survivor Series 1996, places the reported anniversary among the longest-running performer legacies in the promotion's modern history. His limited involvement since Elimination Chamber 2025 gives the celebration added weight as a retrospective moment for the company.

WWE's reported anniversary initiatives, including a commemorative belt and merchandise releases, would give fans collectible items tied to The Rock's three decades with the company. Fans may see the celebration reflected in WWE programming and merchandise throughout November 2026.

The takeaway

The Rock's 30-year milestone underscores how long-tenured figures can remain central to a wrestling promotion's identity. Readers following WWE should watch for official confirmation of the planned celebration later in 2026.
