Rhea Ripley appeared without a knee brace at a Motionless in White concert, a week after she was spotted without one in public. The WWE star has been away from the company since July, when a knee injury led her to forfeit the women's title.

Why it matters

The appearance offers a visible sign of Ripley's recovery after knee surgery and rehab. It also signals she may be nearing a return to in-ring competition.

The observation comes from a live crowd of thousands of attendees, not a medical or league assessment. No official update on her recovery timeline has been released.

The players

Rhea Ripley

Rhea Ripley is an Australian professional wrestler who is one of WWE's most prominent women's performers.

Motionless in White

Motionless in White is an American metalcore band that wrote Rhea Ripley's WWE theme song.

The details

Ripley sustained a knee injury in July and forfeited the WWE women's title as a result. She underwent successful knee surgery and completed rehab, wearing a brace afterward. At the Motionless in White show, the band's lead singer, who wrote her theme song, invited her onstage and embraced her in front of the crowd.

Concert night: Ripley appears onstage without a brace and walks normally.

Big Picture

Athletes returning from knee surgery often appear publicly well before their formal return to competition, as Ripley's concert appearance does.

Ripley's return would affect WWE's women's title picture and fantasy rosters. Fans tracking her status should watch for an official return announcement from the company.

The takeaway

Ripley's public appearance is an encouraging sign of recovery, but a return date will depend on official clearance from WWE. Readers should expect confirmation from the company rather than from concert footage.
