App My Community has released a feature update for its campground guest app, adding custom color themes, form imports, digital punch cards and loyalty rewards, and a new guest arrival flow. The company will demonstrate the new features at booth #515 at OHCE 2026.

Why it matters

The update lets campground operators customize their guest-facing app and move paper registrations, waivers and surveys into digital form. Connections to multiple reservation and property management systems mean parks using those platforms can adopt the features without switching software.

The announcement names eight connected systems: CampLife, CampMap, Firefly Reservations, Newbook, ResNexus, RMS, Staylist and Wild Energy. The company will be at OHCE 2026, held November 9-11, with booth #515.

The players

App My Community

A campground guest app platform that connects with several reservation and property management systems used by parks.

The details

Guests log in to receive their gate code from the park's property management system, and a button below the code gives directions to their site, which also appears on the property map. Parks can import existing registrations, waivers, reservation requests and guest surveys, which the app converts into digital forms.

Timeline

  1. November 6, 2026: App My Community announces the feature release.

  2. November 9-11, 2026: OHCE 2026 takes place at the Fort Worth Convention Center in Fort Worth, Texas.

Industry Dynamics

The update extends campground management platforms such as CampLife, Newbook and ResNexus by adding a guest-facing app layer that works alongside their existing reservation systems. It fits a wider move among park operators toward replacing paper forms and printed materials with digital tools.

Campground guests may find gate codes and site directions available directly in a park's app rather than through separate messages. Park owners considering digital registration can import existing paper forms instead of rebuilding them from scratch.

The takeaway

Campground operators can add digital guest tools without replacing their current reservation software. Reviewing which of your paper forms can be converted to digital format is a practical first step.
