RJ City Questions AEW Roster Absence
The AEW commentator asked why he is missing from the official active roster page while colleague Renee Paquette is listed.
Updated on Nov. 5, 2026 in Wrestling
RJ City, a writer and on-screen interviewer for All Elite Wrestling since 2023, publicly questioned his absence from the promotion's active roster page. Renee Paquette, a fellow AEW broadcast team member, is listed on that page.
Why it matters
The question highlights how roster listings can signal which broadcast personalities are formally recognized by a wrestling promotion. It also comes after critical comments Paquette made about City in April 2026.
RJ City is 38 years old and has been signed with AEW since 2023, while Renee Paquette was signed in 2022 and debuted that October on Dynamite in Toronto. The reason for City's roster omission has not been stated by the promotion.

Roadmap
The dispute centers on AEW's official active roster page, which lists Renee Paquette but not RJ City despite both serving on the broadcast team. Whether a wrestling promotion formally lists its broadcast staff on the roster page shapes how fans and talent understand who holds an official role.
Fans tracking AEW's broadcast lineup can check the official active roster page to see which commentators and personalities are formally listed. The page is the reference point for who the promotion recognizes as part of its active staff.
The takeaway
Roster listings on official promotion pages can carry real weight in how talent and fans understand who belongs to a company's active team. Following the official site rather than social media commentary gives the clearest picture of current roster status.
