CBS Skips New Ghosts Episode on November 5
No new Ghosts episode airs tonight as the series prepares a Christmas special and a full sixth season.
Updated on Nov. 5, 2026 in Paranormal
CBS did not air a new Ghosts episode on November 5, 2026, following a two-part Halloween special in late October. Season 6 has been confirmed to air as a full season in mid-season 2027.
Why it matters
The gap in new episodes leaves viewers waiting on the cliffhanger from season 5, when Pete disappeared, and the Halloween special ended with Pete returning with no memory of having died. For audiences in the United States, the schedule now points to a Christmas special before the end of 2026.
The Halloween special's main plot had Jay and Kyle buy a mirror haunted by Hetty's sister, Margaret, and fix it after it broke. The Christmas special premieres Thursday, December 10, 2026, at 9 p.m. ET/PT on CBS, and its exact plot beyond its Die Hard inspiration has not been detailed.
