Fortnite Crew Adds Tiered V-Bucks Bonuses
Epic Games' revamped Fortnite Crew subscription restores 1,000 V-Bucks monthly and adds tiered rewards starting December 5, 2026.
Updated on Nov. 4, 2026 in Gaming
Epic Games is revamping the Fortnite Crew subscription, which will provide 1,000 V-Bucks per month at the Core tier, with Bronze, Silver, and Gold tiers offering 1,200, 1,400, and 1,600 V-Bucks respectively. The changes take effect December 5, 2026, and the subscription price remains $11.99.
Why it matters
The revamp reverses an earlier V-Bucks reduction after community feedback, giving subscribers a clearer path to higher monthly rewards. Epic Games had planned the changes for some time, having cancelled two major Passes last month.
The Fortnite Crew subscription remains priced at $11.99 while Core tier members receive 1,000 V-Bucks monthly, rising to 1,600 at the Gold tier after 12 or more months. Crew Members also earn 20% more XP, and players grouped with them receive a 10% XP bonus across Battle Royale, Zero Build, and Fortnite Save the World.

Season Trajectory
The Crew revamp extends Fortnite's Battle Pass model by bundling multiple Passes into a single subscription that delivers monthly V-Bucks. It follows Epic Games' recent decision to cancel two major Passes, signaling a shift toward consolidated subscription value.
Subscribers at the Core tier receive 1,000 V-Bucks monthly for $11.99, while those who stay subscribed 12 or more months reach 1,600 V-Bucks per month. Players who stay in the subscription can also use the bundled Battle Pass, Music Pass, LEGO Pass, and Rocket Pass Premium.
The takeaway
Subscribers who plan to stay active should track the tiered bonus progression, since the monthly V-Bucks total climbs over time. Crew members should also note the 2027 removal of Crew-exclusive outfits when weighing long-term value.
What happens next
The Crew-exclusive outfits are removed from the subscription in 2027, and the next era of Fortnite OG is set to drop in late 2027.
