Sony will release Pauly Shore's new stand-up special, Road Comic: Live From Portland, directly to PlayStation 5 users on November 1, 2026. The half-hour performance will remain exclusive to the console for two-and-a-half weeks before moving to broader distribution.
Why it matters
This release serves as a strategic move by Sony to increase user engagement with its Live TV on PS5 initiative. By gating the content, the company hopes to drive more traffic to its integrated streaming ecosystem.
Road Comic: Live From Portland features a total runtime of one-half hour. The content is restricted to PlayStation 5 hardware for a duration of 2.5 weeks.
