The Savannah Bananas are unveiling their 2027 tour schedule, which will feature 75 distinct locations. The announcement follows a competitive bidding process that saw more than 300 cities apply to host the unique Banana Ball experience.
Why it matters
The league is aggressively expanding its footprint to secure larger venues across the country. This growth strategy aims to capitalize on the high demand for their unconventional brand of exhibition baseball.
The upcoming tour will span 75 locations, significantly building upon a previous season where Banana Ball games were hosted across 46 states. The league received over 300 city bids for these coveted hosting spots.
The players

The details
Games in the 2027 season will follow the league's signature style, which gained momentum after the Texas Tailgaters won the inaugural Banana Bowl. Interested fans must navigate an online ticket lottery system to secure attendance at any of the new venues.

Season Trajectory
The league's 2027 expansion follows the precedent set by the inaugural Banana Bowl, which established the format as a viable national tour model. This move shifts the competitive balance of the exhibition circuit by favoring larger venues capable of hosting high-capacity crowds.
Fans hoping to attend games must prioritize the October 31, 2026 deadline to ensure their participation in the ticket lottery. Because only 75 locations were selected from over 300 bids, demand for lottery spots is expected to significantly outpace available inventory.
The takeaway
The league is leveraging its massive public interest to scale its operations into new geographic markets. Readers should check the official schedule carefully, as the lottery process is the only designated method for securing tickets.
What happens next
Fans interested in attending the 2027 tour events must complete their registration for the ticket lottery by the October 31, 2026 deadline.
