The details

Available now through the Pokémon Center retail platform, the release includes apparel such as knit beanies, pajamas, and t-shirts. Holiday Village expansions include the Meloetta Majestic Theatre and Town Hall Greetings, while the ornament line highlights characters like Slowpoke and Piplup.

The holiday collection was released on October 14, 2026.

Culture Shift

This launch follows the retail industry's seasonal holiday merchandise launch cycle, which positions exclusive festive goods to capture early consumer demand. These collections reflect a broader shift where major franchises prioritize seasonal, collectible lifestyle goods as a core driver of fan engagement.

Shoppers can now access the full inventory online to plan their seasonal gift purchases. Given the scale of the 100-plus item release, fans should note that specific limited-edition ornaments and village figures may sell out quickly during the holiday season.

The takeaway

Collectors should prioritize items like the Mew tree topper early to ensure availability. Engaging with seasonal collections is a practical way to curate a themed display that refreshes annually.
