Butthole Surfers will release remastered vinyl editions of their albums Piouhgd and Humpty Dumpty LSD on December 11, 2026. These reissues are being distributed through Matador Records.
Why it matters
The reissues allow fans to collect rare or long-out-of-print material from the band's catalog on physical media. These releases provide listeners with updated versions of recordings that have defined specific eras of the group's history.
The reissues cover two distinct periods of the band's history, starting with the 1991 release of Piouhgd and the 2002 compilation album Humpty Dumpty LSD. These recordings are currently available for purchase through pre-order.
