Why it matters
This release expands Hooten Young's premium tobacco offerings with a specific focus on a limited-production run for collectors. The inclusion of an accessory with dual functionality provides a new utility option for cigar enthusiasts.
The Midnight Hammer 2026 is a 6 x 60 torpedo cigar with an MSRP of $17 per stick, packaged in 20-count boxes. Hooten Young also released 200 Bomber Buddy cases, priced at $40 for a case with one cigar or $100 for a case with five.

The details

Timeline

Culture Shift
This release follows the broader industry trend of utilizing small-batch production runs to create market scarcity for premium tobacco products. By pairing the cigars with functional accessories, the company is targeting the intersection of tobacco collecting and utility-focused lifestyle goods.
Retail customers can now purchase the 20-count boxes or the new travel cases at authorized Hooten Young dealers. The price per unit is set at $17, while the combined accessory sets offer tiered pricing depending on the number of cigars included.
The takeaway
Collectors interested in the Midnight Hammer line should check with local tobacconists due to the limited production run of 500 total boxes. The removable tail-fin stand on the Bomber Buddy case offers a practical solution for smokers who need a stable surface while enjoying their cigar.
