Costco has slashed the price of the Lenovo Legion Go 2 to $999.99, down from its previous retail price of $1,699.99. This limited-time promotion offers shoppers a $700 total discount on the handheld gaming console.
Why it matters
The significant price cut provides a major entry point for gamers seeking high-end portable hardware. By bundling the device with essential accessories, the promotion aims to clear inventory and increase the adoption of the Lenovo gaming platform.
The Lenovo Legion Go 2 features an 8.8-inch OLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate, powered by an 8-core AMD Ryzen Z2 processor. The bundle includes 32GB of RAM, a 1TB SSD, a carrying case, and a three-month PC Game Pass subscription.

Culture Shift
This aggressive pricing strategy mirrors the broader shift in the gaming industry toward high-performance, portable hardware as manufacturers attempt to convert traditional PC gamers. The promotion captures the ongoing trend of value-driven bundling to gain an edge in the competitive portable device sector.
Shoppers can save $700 on a high-end gaming bundle that includes the console, a carrying case, and a three-month subscription. Interested buyers should verify current stock levels at their local Costco, as the deal is contingent on available inventory.
