Apple has added five new games to its Apple Arcade subscription service. The platform now provides members access to a library containing more than 200 titles.

Why it matters

Expanding the service library allows Apple to maintain the value proposition of its $6.99 monthly subscription cost. This strategy helps keep the platform competitive within the broader gaming industry.

The Apple Arcade subscription costs $6.99 per month. The new additions include Terraria+ which features the 1.4.5 update and supports up to eight players across 20 biomes.

Culture Shift

This release follows the established pattern of periodic content expansion for the Apple Arcade subscription model. These frequent additions reflect a broader shift toward gaming services that prioritize library variety over single-title ownership.

Subscribers can immediately download the five new titles through the platform to begin playing on their devices. The update requires no additional fees beyond the standard $6.99 monthly subscription cost.
