Michael Douglas said Jack Nicholson is doing well and has disappeared from public view, speaking at an event in Swansea. Douglas said he still sees Nicholson, who has not appeared in an industry project since How Do You Know.
Why it matters
The update comes amid online speculation about Nicholson's whereabouts, and Douglas's firsthand account offers a direct response from a longtime collaborator. Nicholson's absence from film work has drawn attention among fans of the actor.
Nicholson's most recent industry credit listed is How Do You Know, and his collaboration with Douglas on One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest (1975) produced a Best Picture Oscar winner. Douglas's comments do not address his future film plans, and no new projects were mentioned.
