Worldly Launches Expansive Supplier Environmental Compliance Tool
The new solution combines three report tools into one environmental assessment for manufacturing facilities supplying consumer goods brands.

Worldly launched its most expansive supplier compliance solution for environmental assessments, combining three report tools into a single assessment. The platform hosts more than 45,000 manufacturing facilities and measures environmental impact across energy, water, and reduction targets.
Why it matters
Brands face growing pressure to prove environmental sustainability compliance, especially in the European Union, and pass that pressure down to suppliers who risk losing clients if they cannot demonstrate it. A single shared assessment replaces repeated, overlapping requests from customers.
Facility-reported Higg FEM data shows 61 percent of 2025 completers had an energy improvement plan, up from 54 percent, and 48 percent had set Scope 1 and 2 targets, up from 41 percent. The extraction does not indicate how these figures will be independently verified.
The players
Worldly
Worldly is a supplier sustainability data platform used by manufacturing facilities and consumer goods brands to share environmental assessments.
Cascale
Cascale is the industry organization that introduced the Higg FEM to the apparel and footwear sector 15 years ago as a spreadsheet.
The details
The solution combines three report tools into one assessment that measures facility environmental impact across energy, water, waste, and chemicals. Brands use it to identify non-compliance and track remediation against a Code of Conduct, and the FDM allows monthly or quarterly tracking rather than annual reviews only.

Roadmap
The launch extends the Higg Facility Environmental Module, which Cascale introduced 15 years ago as a spreadsheet, into a consolidated platform. It reflects a broader industry move from one-off, annual supplier audits toward continuous, shared environmental data.
Suppliers may face fewer repeated, overlapping compliance requests because one assessment can be shared across brand customers. Consumers rarely see these reports directly, but the process shapes which factories can keep supplying the brands they buy from.
The takeaway
Shared, continuous environmental data is replacing one-off supplier audits as brands face tighter sustainability scrutiny. Suppliers that can document progress on energy and emissions targets are better positioned to keep their customers.
