Updated on Nov. 6, 2026 in Board Games
D&D Beyond has released its November Drop, which brings back the Bariaur species updated for the 2024 rule set. The release is themed around Ysgard and is available to D&D Beyond subscribers.
Why it matters
The drop adds new options for players building characters with the 2024 rules and signals the start of the Season of Champions. It gives subscribers fresh content tied to a single planar theme.
The release includes three new feats (Upper Planes Pact, Elysium Diplomat, and Ysgardian Warrior) and three new weapons (Bola, Pitchfork, and Weighted Chain). Players access the content through D&D Beyond, and the extraction does not give pricing details.

Culture Shift
The Bariaur return and the Ysgard theme extend D&D Beyond's periodic subscriber drops into a named Season of Champions, a structure the platform's own subscription releases have followed. The move reflects tabletop publishers' continued reliance on digital subscriptions to deliver rules updates between print books.
Subscribers to D&D Beyond can access the November Drop directly through the platform. The new feats and weapons become available for use in character building and play.
The takeaway
Players who build characters with the 2024 rules can use the new feats and weapons in their next session. Checking the platform directly will confirm access and any follow-up Season of Champions content.
