Datacenter.eu Launches Cross-Border AI Accelerator
The program backs start-ups in Luxembourg, Belgium, Germany and France, with Easylab AI named as its first participant.
Updated on Nov. 4, 2026 in Artificial Intelligence

Luxembourg-based infrastructure provider Datacenter.eu has launched an AI Accelerator for start-ups in Luxembourg, Belgium, Germany and France. Easylab AI, a Luxembourg company specialising in autonomous AI agents, is the first to join.
Why it matters
The initiative combines cash, AI infrastructure and commercial support to help build commercially viable, sovereign AI solutions. Its stated aim is to keep infrastructure, data and value creation in Luxembourg and Europe.
Each selected start-up receives €35,000 in cash and €35,000 in AI infrastructure and services, a combined €70,000 in exchange for a minority equity stake. The number of start-ups in the first cohort and the size of the equity stake were not disclosed.
The players
Datacenter.eu
Datacenter.eu is a Luxembourg-based infrastructure provider that operates data centre services across Europe and runs the new AI Accelerator.
Easylab AI
Easylab AI is a Luxembourg start-up founded in 2023 that develops autonomous AI agents and is the first company to join the accelerator.
The details
Datacenter.eu provides the accelerator, which combines financial backing, infrastructure and commercial support. Selected start-ups gain access to the company's network of more than 5,300 business customers along with sales and marketing support.
Timeline
2023 – Easylab AI is founded by Julien Doussot and Philippe Hougardy.

Regional Context
The accelerator extends Europe's effort to build sovereign cloud and AI infrastructure by tying start-up funding directly to infrastructure hosted in the region. It keeps AI development spending within Luxembourg, Belgium, Germany and France rather than relying on non-European providers.
Start-ups in the four target countries can apply for a combined cash and infrastructure package, which lowers the cost of building and testing AI products. Founders should weigh the minority equity stake against the value of the in-kind infrastructure and customer access.
The takeaway
Start-ups weighing AI accelerators should compare the full value of cash, infrastructure and customer access against the equity they give up. Access to an established customer network can matter as much as the funding itself.
