Steam has reduced the price of Anomaly 2 by 90%, from $14.99 to $1.49, until November 14. The strategy game, developed by Poland's 11 bit studios, inverts the traditional tower defense formula.
Why it matters
The discount lowers the barrier for international players to try a title that holds a Metacritic Metascore of 77. The sale price matches an all-time low that the game previously reached during the Steam Autumn Sale.
The game's list price on Steam is $14.99 and its sale price is $1.49 through November 14. Steam Deck compatibility is officially listed as Unknown, so handheld players should verify before buying.

Deeper Dive
Deep seasonal markdowns on Steam, such as the Autumn Sale, have become a recurring way for mid-tier PC titles to reach new audiences. Anomaly 2 reaching the same all-time low a second time shows how these sales reset pricing for older releases.
At $1.49 through November 14, the game is inexpensive to buy on Steam for players who want to try a strategy title with a Metacritic Metascore of 77. Steam Deck compatibility is officially listed as Unknown, so handheld players should check before purchasing.
The takeaway
Seasonal Steam sales can make older strategy games affordable for new players within a single week. Checking Steam Deck compatibility before buying avoids surprises on handheld hardware.
