Playground Games released Forza Horizon 6 update 3.479.874 on November 2, 2026, for Xbox Series X|S and PC. The update adds two permanent race routes, new engine swaps, an IKEA Prop Pack with 35 new props, and a Limited Time Series called City Life.
Why it matters
The update expands both the racing and customization content available to players while lowering the Festival Playlist Points needed to unlock new cars. It also resets PR Stunt Leaderboards after unrealistic entries and fixes a map-discovery progress bug.
The update includes 10 Festival Playlist Reward Cars and 4 Car Pass Cars, with the Car Pass cars restricted to Car Pass, Deluxe, Premium, and Premium Upgrade Editions. It also adds 35 IKEA props and 2 permanent race routes.

Roadmap
This update extends the Forza Horizon series' long-running pattern of delivering new routes, cars, and cosmetic content through Festival Playlist and seasonal events. The PS5 release on January 26, 2027, extends that content model to a second console platform.
Players on Xbox Series X|S and PC receive the update directly, and the Car Pass cars are available only to players holding the Car Pass, Deluxe, Premium, or Premium Upgrade Editions. Lower Festival Playlist Point requirements mean new cars can be unlocked with less grinding.
The takeaway
Players who have not yet reached the Festival Playlist requirements may find the reduced point thresholds make the new cars easier to obtain in this update. Checking the Car Pass tier before the November 5 unlock window clarifies which exclusive cars are accessible.
