Timeline

The last colt to win in successive seasons was in 1977 and 1978.
Enable previously secured back-to-back titles in 2017 and 2018.
The Big Picture
Daryz's victory follows the historical pattern set by Enable's back-to-back wins in the 2017 and 2018 Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe. This trend underscores the immense difficulty of sustaining elite performance levels in consecutive years at this specific race.
The result finalizes the standings for the 2026 race, with Bay City Roller and Diamond Necklace rounding out the top three finishers. Punters and analysts will now adjust their future rankings based on Daryz's confirmed continued dominance.
The takeaway
Daryz has successfully etched his name into racing history by joining the exclusive club of repeat winners. His performance serves as a reminder that elite pedigree combined with expert training remains the gold standard for long-term competitive success.
