As one of the most popular and lucrative sports leagues in the world, the National Football League (NFL) holds an influential position in American culture. Home to 32 professionally competitive teams, the NFL features divisions equally balanced between the American Football Conference (AFC) and the National Football Conference (NFC). With a dynamic calendar that includes an engaging preseason, an adrenaline-charged 18-week regular season, and a rigorous playoff schedule culminating in the Super Bowl, the NFL has captivated audiences since its inception in 1920.
